Labeled & Loved presents a 3-day weekend retreat for mothers of children with any disability/special need. As primary caretakers, we are at serious risk of burnout. Nineteen research studies have identified parents of children with disabilities to have an increased risk for depression (95%) and anxiety (90%). The divorce rate is over 85% for parents of children with a disability.
At this retreat, every moment is carefully curated to empower you to combat these statistics all while relaxing, having fun, finding community, and equipping you to return home with the tools to best care for your child — and yourself. You will also meet other moms who will become your lifelines and keep you from feeling alone in this unexpected version of motherhood.

What time do the retreat activities start and end?
The official retreat programming begins at 2:30 PM Pacific Time on Friday, October 2nd and ends at 11:00 AM PT on Sunday, October 4th.

What makes the Labeled & Loved Retreat different from other disability events?
We offer a space where you belong without saying a word. The Labeled & Loved retreat was created by moms of kids with special needs for moms of kids with special needs. We understand the emotional toll you feel daily as a lifelong caregiver because we are also living it.

Should I come if I don’t know anyone?
Yes. This retreat is created from start to finish for the mom to meet her new best friend. You will be added to a FB Group to make new friends, choose to attend pre-retreat connections offerings, be contacted by our Connection Coordinator upon request, and at the retreat we have special seating just for you. Be brave. You can do this.
Can I bring my child, mom, sister, spouse, therapist, friend?
This retreat is only for moms/primary female caretakers of children who have disabilities. The activities planned focus on helping you to reconnect with yourself and connect with other moms. To ensure you get the most out of your time and to be respectful to the other moms attending, please do not bring anyone who is not a mom of a child with a disability.
Can I attend to support my family member or friend?
The retreat is only for moms/primary female caretakers of children who have disabilities. The activities planned focus on helping these moms to reconnect with themselves and connect with other moms. Your big heart makes you the perfect person to support your family member or friend and all our moms as a retreat volunteer. Please email hello@labeledandloved.org to learn more.

HOTEL & TRAVEL
Is my hotel room included in the registration fee?
Hotel is NOT included. Upon registration, we offer a discounted rate for a limited number of rooms. Our discounted room rate starts at $189 per night plus hotel taxes and fees plus a $20 resort fee per room per night. Book early to ensure you get a room.
How do I book my hotel room through the discounted event link?
A private link will be provided in your confirmation email once you register. Please email hello@labeledandloved.org if you need it resent.
What airport do I fly into?
Harry Reid International Airport is 13 miles (approx 28 min) from the resort.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
Uber, Lyft, taxis, or car rental is available at your own expense.
How much is parking at the hotel?
Complimentary self-parking. Valet is $20 a night.
Do you accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?
If you have a true food allergy or medical dietary restriction that needs accommodation, we are happy to accommodate you. Please email hello@labeledandloved.org with your need by 9/2/26. We are unable to accommodate preferences.

How do I find a roommate?
Once registered, you are welcome to post on our private retreat Facebook page to find a roommate and share rides.
PROGRAMMING
What is a Big Session?
A Big Session is an intentional time of connection and reflection. Our speakers, who are all from inside the disability space, share personal stories, mental health support, and relatable inspiration while immersing you in community-building experiences.
Who are your speakers?
All of our speakers are all from inside the disability space and will be announced closer to the event. We want you to attend this retreat for you! Every moment is crafted to help you reconnect with yourself and connect with other mommas who will become your lifelines in this different version of motherhood.
What are the breakouts and how do I sign up?
Breakout options will be announced the week of August 10 inside our retreat Facebook group, and signup will open on August 3 at 8pm CST. Registered moms will receive an email with the link to sign up. Breakout sessions are non-transferable.
What is the Sisterhood Circles Leadership Info Meeting?
If you are interested in bringing the connection and healing you have experienced at the retreat to other moms in your hometown using our Sisterhood Circles Program, we would love for you to join this meeting to find out more! Registered moms will receive an invite.
CANCELLATION
What is the retreat registration cancellation policy?
Cancellations by August 2, 2026: A full refund will be provided, minus a $100 processing fee. After August 2, 2026: No refunds will be issued. Because this retreat is a not-for-profit event, the only exception to this policy is if the event location is subject to evacuation or closure by local authorities. Tickets may be privately transferred to another special needs mom until September 18, 2026. Please contact us at hello@labeledandloved.org to initiate a transfer. We encourage attendees to consider travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes. For options, please visit travelinsurance.com.
How do I cancel my retreat ticket?

How do I cancel my hotel room?
Your hotel room is booked through the hotel. You must cancel directly with the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa at 702-567-4700.
