Why Volunteer With Us?

Each year, our annual Weekend of Hope Retreat brings together special needs moms from across the country for a weekend of rest, encouragement, and connection. Our volunteers play a vital role in creating a peaceful, welcoming, and joy-filled experience for every guest.

As a volunteer, you’ll:

  • Help create an exceptional retreat experience for special needs moms
  • Support the behind-the-scenes details that keep the retreat running smoothly
  • Build meaningful connections with an incredible team of volunteers
  • Make a lasting difference in the lives of the families we serve

What to Expect

  • Our team carefully reviews volunteer applications. Because space and meal costs are limited, we may not be able to accept every applicant.
  • If selected, you’ll receive your volunteer schedule and responsibilities before the retreat so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
  • You’ll be part of a supportive, fun-loving team—we’re in this together!

Note: Volunteering at the retreat is a service role and does not include complimentary access to retreat sessions or activities. Volunteers are expected to fulfill their assigned responsibilities and be available during their scheduled volunteer shifts. Meals provided during volunteer shifts are included; however, volunteers are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and any additional expenses.
