Hi and welcome! My name is Emily and I live in Friendswood, Texas with my husband and three spirited children, Hayes and Bailey (14) and Brenham (11). I was born in Ft. Worth, and grew up in Colorado Springs, CO. So I am a Texas girl by birth and Colorado girl by heart! I believe we serve a good, sovereign, faithful God and faith makes things possible not easy. This belief was never challenged more than when our twins were born premature at 24 weeks. Spending 5 months in the NICU, with 4 surgeries, two hospital transfers, too many infections to count and one diagnosis of meningitis. Little did we know this would be just the beginning. The beginning of more surgeries, more hospital stays, more therapies and more diagnosis. The beginning of a new life — a life unexpected. But we are not alone, I am not alone. I hope you find a piece of that truth in this group.

Hi! I am Shanna and live in Pearland with my husband. I am a mom of 3 kiddos, Abigail (15), Austin (11), and Sawyer (7). Austin is on the Autism Spectrum. In my free time, I volunteer at my church and serve our local school district as a Mentor. I enjoy spending time with my family and having a good laugh with friends. I am looking forward to connecting with other moms in the area.
