| Your HUB Introduction | Welcome to our circle! Your leaders of the Twin Falls Circle are Amanda and Chelsea. Our moto for this circle is: We are mothers, we are advocates, and today, we are sisters. We know that raising kids with unique challenges can feel isolating, but joining this circle of sisters, that isolation ends. Whether you are here as an adoptive mom, a foster mom, or a mom navigating a new diagnosis, or a mom with 20+ years of experience we want you to know: you don't have to carry it alone anymore. Let's set aside the medical terms and the 'special ed' talk for a moment, and just focus on being community. Welcome home.We can’t wait to start this journey with you. |
| Your Bio (Hub Leader) | My husband and I grew our family through foster care, stepping into this parenting world with our eyes wide open; we knew our children’s 'labels' before they were even ours, and we knew our story wouldn't be the simplest—but it is definitely the most rewarding.
My three oldest are each navigating their own unique journeys with Schizencephaly, FASD, and Autism. But my perspective on 'labels' doesn't just come from my kids or my career. As a three-time cancer survivor, I know exactly what it feels like to be restricted behind a diagnosis and to have the world see the 'label' before they see you.
That lived experience is why I’m such a believer in the motto Labeled and Loved. I’ve learned that beyond any medical term or educational coding, what our kids (and we as moms!) need most is to be seen and loved for exactly who we are. I am so honored to start this sisterhood circle and build a community where we can take off those labels and just be sisters.

| Co-Leader Bio | Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m a busy mama to two young boys, and we are currently navigating the brand-new world of an Autism diagnosis. Moving back home to Twin Falls has been a whirlwind, but my biggest priority was finding my 'people.' I’m co-leading this circle because I know firsthand that feeling alone in this journey is a weight no mom should have to carry. I’m ready to trade that isolation for a sisterhood that truly understands. |
